AAK is seeking a Supply Chain Excellence Lead to govern and coordinate our global supply chain transformation agenda. The role aligns regional execution with global strategy, facilitates leadership decision-making, and drives cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
The position requires building governance, tracking performance, and enabling organizational change in a highly matrixed environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and capability development across regions.
Our story goes back more than 150 years, to the chilly southern coast of Scandinavia. From our early success in Sweden and Denmark, we’ve grown into the world’s leading specialist producer of plant-based oils, employing more than 4,000 people across the globe. We work with our customers to make the products you love even better. The oils we produce go into making your chocolate extra-creamy or putting the crunch into your croissant. And it’s not just food — we work across industries to make products that are higher quality, healthier and better for the planet.
Everything we do is about Making Better Happen™.
This position can be based on site in Karlshamn, Sweden, Hull, UK, Morelia, Mexico or Jundiaí, Brazil.
The Supply Chain Excellence Lead is responsible for driving the governance, coordination, and execution of AAK's global supply chain excellence and transformation agenda. The role ensures that strategic priorities are translated into actionable roadmaps, effective governance, measurable objectives, and sustainable organizational change that delivers business value. Acting as the primary facilitator of the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT), the role enables alignment across regions, functions, and leadership teams by coordinating strategic initiatives, supporting decision-making, tracking commitments, and ensuring consistent execution of the global supply chain agenda. It serves as the critical link between strategy and execution, fostering accountability, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capability development across the global supply chain organization. Working in a highly matrixed global environment, the Supply Chain Excellence Lead partners with senior leaders and stakeholders across Commercial, CD&I, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, regional Supply Chain teams, functional discipline leads, and other corporate functions. The role also represents Supply Chain in cross-functional transformation programs and strategic projects, requiring confident participation in multidisciplinary discussions and the ability to build alignment without direct authority. Success in this position depends on strong influencing, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive organizational alignment, and coordinate initiatives across multiple functions, regions, and time zones. The role regularly prepares and presents executive-level materials, translating complex transformation activities into clear, concise, and decision-ready insights that support effective leadership decisions. This is a strategic, non-operational role focused on enabling organizational performance through governance, continuous improvement, communication, and change management rather than day-to-day supply chain execution. There are no direct reports.
Closing date for applications is Thursday 20th August.
