Job summary

Alleima is seeking a Strategy & Business Development Lead to shape corporate strategy and drive long-term growth from Stockholm or Sandviken. You will translate market insights into strategic initiatives while collaborating with divisions and senior leaders across geographies.

You will lead cross-functional projects, support the CEO and Board with strategic analyses, and foster international relationships to create value. Travel to sites and international assignments may be required.

About the role

As Strategy & Business Development Lead, you will help shape Alleima’s corporate strategy and contribute to long-term business growth and value creation. By exploring market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes and emerging opportunities, you will translate insights into strategic recommendations and actionable initiatives.

Working closely with our divisions and senior leaders, you will support strategic planning and decision-making while leading complex, cross-functional projects that turn strategic priorities into tangible results.

Location for this position is Stockholm or Sandviken. If you’re based in Stockholm traveling to Sandviken and, at times, international travel is a natural part of the role.

Your key responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to the development of Alleima’s corporate strategy.
• Advance continuous business improvement, with a focus on strategy, commercial and operational excellence, and value creation.
• Provide strategic analysis and support to the CEO, Group Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
• Advise leadership teams on strategic planning and initiatives, from initial ideas through execution.
• Lead development projects and facilitate workshops.
• Strengthen business intelligence capabilities by developing insights on markets, competitors, technology and macroeconomic trends.
• Build and maintain cross-functional and international relationships to share ideas, experience and expertise.
• Lead or contribute to M&A projects.

About you

You bring experience in strategy, business development or management consulting, preferably from an industrial or international business environment, together with a university degree in finance, engineering, business administration or a related field.

Your background includes leading strategic projects, conducting market and business analyses, and identifying opportunities that contribute to business growth and long-term value creation. You are comfortable working with complex information, developing structured strategies and translating insights into practical recommendations and actions.

To succeed in this role, you combine analytical thinking with business understanding, curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset. You take initiative, challenge perspectives constructively and enjoy turning ideas into meaningful results. With a collaborative and consultative approach, you build trust, engage stakeholders and create alignment across functions and geographies.

You communicate complex topics clearly and confidently, adapting your message to different audiences, including senior management and the Board of Directors. As we operate in a global environment, you are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience from M&A-related activities, such as market assessments, due diligence or integration, is considered an advantage.
