Job summary

Swedbank is seeking a senior leader to drive transformation and operational excellence across our technology and data organisation. You will work with C-level executives, own the problem-solving cycle from framing to execution, and translate insights into actionable plans that improve productivity and performance.

The role requires 5–10 years in project management or consulting, a relevant degree, and strong English and Swedish communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in structured problem solving, analytical thinking and executive-level communication.
• Curious and result-oriented mindset with a structured, well-organized and collaborative approach.
• Proven experience leading complex strategic projects, preferably in technology transformation and/or financial services.
• A background in management consulting or a similar role.
• Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels with hands-on execution.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in tech-driven or data/technology organisations is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational efficiency improvements across technology and data.
• Collaborate with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to drive alignment and measurable improvements.
• Own the full problem-solving cycle from framing to root-cause analysis and action plans.
• Translate analysis into clear, insight-driven recommendations for decisions.
• Lead change and adoption efforts to translate initiatives into daily ways of working.
• Use data to inform decisions, measure progress and support transformation.
