Job summary

Altris AB is seeking a Legal Counsel to lead the legal side of fundraising, draft and negotiate key agreements, and advise executive leadership. You will oversee governance, corporate structuring, and risk management while ensuring compliance with EU funding conditions.

The role offers a hybrid remote work arrangement and stock options as part of the compensation package. You will work close to executive management and the board, shaping the legal function from the ground up and enabling fast,

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited university (LL.M. or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in law firms or in-house, growth company or industrial sector.
• Hands-on drafting and negotiation of commercial and procurement contracts and governance docs.
• Solid understanding of investment and shareholder agreements and cap table management.
• Expertise in corporate and contract law in Sweden and other markets.
• Fluent English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the legal side of fundraising and investment activity, incl. agreements and cap table management.
• Negotiate supply, customer and partnership agreements for scale-up.
• Support corporate governance and structuring, incl. joint ventures and new entities.
• Advise management on legal risk with clear, concise guidance.
• Ensure compliance with EU funding conditions and industry standards.
• Decide when to engage external counsel and manage their work cost-effectively.
• Build legal foundations with policies and standard templates.
