Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Europe is seeking a strategic Enterprise Architect to shape the AI and Data landscape across the organisation. You will guide architecture direction, principles and guardrails, aligning business needs with AI initiatives and data platforms.

This role emphasises collaboration with AI, Data, Security and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant solutions. You will report to the Head of Enterprise Architecture and help drive architectural maturity across TMHE

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture or strategic architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of data-driven architecture with interest in AI.
• Ability to see the holistic picture of processes, data, applications and platforms.
• Experience engaging with business stakeholders and translating needs into guidance.
• Comfortable in a data-driven environment where AI influences direction.
• Excellent communication, with clear and pragmatic explanations.
• Curious, collaborative and able to lead when needed.
• Willingness to teach and raise architectural maturity in the organisation.
• Enjoy teamwork and contributing to a modern, sustainable IT landscape.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Relevant education.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and shape enterprise-level AI and Data architecture principles, target states and reference patterns.
• Drive direction for Information and Data architecture, including data domains, information structure, interoperability and ownership models.
• Ensure alignment between business needs, AI initiatives, data platforms and the EA model.
• Translate business and transformation into architectural guidance and support decision-making in governance and investment forums.
• Collaborate with the AI program, Data team, Solution Architects, CISO and Legal to support scalable, secure and compliant solutions.
• Contribute to architecture governance and reviews from an AI and data perspective.
• Support business areas in exploring and scaling data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Help strengthen architectural understanding and ways of working across TMHE.
