Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Staff Product Designer for our CoreX team to shape conversational experiences and AI-powered interactions across Spotify surfaces. You’ll lead design direction for the conversational agent while staying hands-on with crafting intuitive interfaces and prototypes.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, ML, and design partners to balance user needs with technical possibilities and business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product design for complex digital products.
• Experience with conversational, voice, or AI-powered experiences.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills across devices.

Responsibilities

• Define design direction for conversational agent across teams.
• Lead end-to-end product design for core chat experience.
• Define how interactions work across agent responses, questions, choices.
• Explore conversation alongside browsing and playback surfaces.
• Design voice and text interactions for multiple listening contexts.
• Create reusable interaction patterns and design guidance.
• Partner with research, data science, and design teams to evaluate UX.
• Build interactive prototypes to test AI behaviors.
• Mentor designers and share knowledge.
