Job summary

Voyado is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead Onsite Messaging within the Engage platform. You’ll own both frontend and backend, guiding architectural decisions while staying hands-on.

You’ll begin by learning the existing solution, collaborating with our India team, and gradually shifting to Stockholm to shape technical roadmaps and product development. You’ll contribute to a shared JavaScript foundation used by multiple Voyado products.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex technical initiatives or migrations.
• Ability to review code and mentor engineers.
• Strong communication across teams and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical driver for Onsite Messaging and own the seam between frontend (Voyado Engage) and backend (AWS).
• Write, review, and influence architectural decisions while remaining hands-on.
• Understand existing solution, then drive technical roadmap and enable new product development.
• Collaborate across teams in Stockholm and India to transition knowledge and ownership.
• Build a scalable, platform-level JS foundation for multiple Voyado products.
