This position offers the opportunity to work at the heart of project execution, ensuring that planning, scheduling, and progress control support successful project outcomes from tender stage through to completion.

As a Senior Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated project schedules in Primavera P6. Working closely with project managers, contract managers, clients, and project teams, you will help ensure projects remain on track by identifying schedule risks, monitoring progress, and providing clear and actionable reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring project performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending mitigation actions.
  • Coordinating schedules across subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Preparing project reports, dashboards, milestone analyses, S-curves, and executive summaries.
  • Acting as the primary planning interface towards clients on schedule, progress, and reporting matters.
  • Supporting time-related analysis, delay assessments, and claims management activities when required.

In addition to supporting project delivery, you will contribute to the continued development of planning excellence within the organization. You will mentor junior planners, share best practices, and support initiatives related to planning tools, processes, and standardization.

About You

You are a structured and analytical professional with strong planning expertise and the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You enjoy working independently while collaborating effectively within international and multidisciplinary teams.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant experience in project planning within large and complex project environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Experience with project reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • The ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and team activities.

Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Earned Value Management (EVM), delay analysis, claims management, FIDIC or NEC contracts, and industries such as Renewable Energy, Offshore Wind, Submarine Cables, Oil & Gas, EPC, or major infrastructure projects will be considered advantageous.

We believe the right person matters more than the location. Therefore, this role can be based in Karlskrona (Sweden), Teesside (UK), or Rotterdam (Netherlands).
