- We are currently seeking an experienced Software Security Specialist to support advanced software development within an innovative industrial technology environment. This is a consulting assignment within a forward-thinking Intelligent Manufacturing IT department, working with modern CAD/CAM software solutions.
About the assignment
In this role, you will act as a key advisor and hands-on expert in product cybersecurity, guiding development teams in building secure, compliant, and resilient software products.
You will play a central role in implementing and continuously improving a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL) aligned with international standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation and evolution of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL)
- Ensure alignment with IEC 62443-4-1 and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- Conduct security assessments and ongoing evaluations of software products
- Identify, prioritize, and support remediation of security gaps
- Strengthen product security capabilities in line with IEC 62443-4-2
- Collaborate closely with development teams on secure coding practices and security tooling
- Support the development and operation of a unified product security program
- Provide strategic input to senior leadership and CISO, including reporting and maturity assessments
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in software security and product cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of secure development practices and relevant standards
- Experience working with development teams in agile environments
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- CSSLP certification is considered a strong merit
