Job summary

Bosch Thermotechnology AB in Tranås, Sweden, is seeking a Software Developer to design and implement software for heat pump systems and HVAC configurations. You will work on calculating and configuring complex systems, revise algorithms, and integrate new functionalities into the current software architecture.

The role requires a degree in a relevant technical field, strong abstract thinking, and programming experience in C# or VB.

• Strong abstract and formal-logical thinking skills.

• Structured, agile mindset with strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Development of software-supported functions for the design and configuration of heat pump systems as well as heating, cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Revision, optimization, and adaptation of existing calculation algorithms
• Backend development and integration of new functionalities into an existing software architecture
• Graphical modeling of an HVAC system configurator

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, or a comparable technical field
• Strong abstract and formal-logical thinking skills
• Programming experience in common languages such as C# or VB
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics, ideally with strong expertise in thermodynamics
• Strong interest in the design and configuration of complex technical systems
• Structured way of working in an agile environment and strong teamwork skills
