Software Architect – Automotive Embedded Systems
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of next-generation software platforms for automotive applications. With expertise in AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Linux/QNX hypervisors, and base software development, you will play a key role in shaping advanced embedded software strategies.
As a senior technical leader, you will be responsible for long-term platform design, software integration, and ensuring compliance with automotive safety and security standards. Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term strategy for Embedded Software Platforms across multiple vehicle systems.
- Lead the development and integration of software platforms based on AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Linux, and QNX.
- Oversee the Board Support Package (BSP) integration, hypervisor configuration, and Guest OS setup.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety and security standards while optimizing software performance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive software development, with deep expertise in AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive).
- Strong proficiency in Linux-based embedded systems and hypervisor technologies (QNX, Xen, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with C, C++, and Embedded C programming.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
