Essity Edet Mill seeks a Site Controller to lead the site’s controlling activities and team, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. The role partners with Site Manager and regional finance, reporting to Senior Controller Europe, with a temporary 11-month parental leave cover starting December 2026.

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Several years of experience in Finance and Controlling, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience leading people or coordinating others.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the site and ensure timely financial reporting.

• Perform variance analysis and explain performance against budget and forecast.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and business cases to site leadership and central stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to work close to operations while leading the site's controlling activities and team.About the roleAs Site Controller, you will lead and develop the site's controlling function and manage a team of two Unit Controllers. You will support the Site Management Team with financial planning, analysis and reporting, while collaborating closely with stakeholders across operations, supply chain and finance.You will report to the Senior Controller Europe, based in Vienna, and work closely with the regional finance team.This position is offered as an 11-month parental leave cover starting in December 2026. While the assignment is temporary, Essity offers a broad range of opportunities across its finance organization. Although we cannot guarantee continued employment beyond the contract period, a successful candidate may have the opportunity to be considered for future openings within the company.Main accountabilities and responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the site and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Own the site's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, coordinating input from multiple departments and consolidating plans into a clear financial outlook.Partner with the Site Manager and Management Team by providing financial insights, recommendations, and decision support.Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, helping the organization understand cost drivers and identify improvement opportunities.Perform variance analysis and explain financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.Present financial results, forecasts, and business cases to both site leadership and central stakeholders.Drive cost awareness and support initiatives that improve operational and financial performance.Support investment and CAPEX processes through business case evaluation, financial analysis, and follow-up.Collaborate with managers across operations, maintenance, logistics, HR, and other functions to improve processes and strengthen financial performance.Lead, coach, and develop a team of two Unit ControllersWho You AreYou are a proactive and business-oriented finance professional, who enjoys working closely with people across an organization. You are comfortable challenging stakeholders, driving discussions, and translating financial information into practical business recommendations.You combine strong analytical capabilities with an engaging and collaborative approach. Just as importantly, you enjoy taking ownership, driving initiatives forward, and creating strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.You have:A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Several years of experience within Finance and Controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience leading people directly or coordinating the work of others.Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.Good understanding of manufacturing costs, cost controlling, and operational finance.The ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Power BI is an advantage.Professional proficiency in English.Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial but is not considered essential for the right candidate.ApplicationInterested?
