Signal Database System Engineer
Description of the assignment
The team is responsible for the design of electrical architecture regarding topology, logic architecture, function allocation, base technologies, system safety and cybersecurity. The team is now looking to temporarily strengthen its capabilities within EE Architecture and Signal Database.
Role Responsibilities
As Signal Database System Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Signal Database (SDB) across the full development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with base technology requirements, processes and standards. The work is performed in close collaboration with cross-functional teams within the organisation and external stakeholders.
Major tasks/activities include:
- Maintain the Signal Database (SDB) across the development lifecycle
- Prepare and deliver SDB packages for each release
- Support busload and frame-packing analysis
- Work with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay and frame-packing strategies
- Apply strong experience with Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR
- Handle signal and service interfaces
- Contribute to ECU gateway routing and behavior
- Work hands‑on with Capital Networks and SystemWeaver
- Cooperate with international colleagues
Qualifications and skills required for the role
- 5+ years of experience working with automotive signal databases (SDB) and communication systems
- Understanding of automotive EE architecture and embedded system development
- Knowledge about embedded system and/or software development and/or testing methodologies/tools
- Knowledge about automotive best practices, standards and regulations
- Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and FlexRay
- Experience with Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR
- Hands‑on experience with Capital Networks and SystemWeaver
- Knowledge of busload calculations, frame-packing strategies and signal/service interface design
- Experience contributing to ECU gateway routing strategies and behavior
- Previous experience at CEVT or Zeekr Technology Europe
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent area
