Job summary

Saab AB invites an experienced leader to assume Head of Software Enablement, responsible for governance, provisioning and management of software across Saab. You will lead the organisation, people and capabilities, shaping the transformation agenda and aligning with Saab’s priorities.

You will build common capabilities for software intake, provisioning and asset management, promote automation and standardisation, and ensure security, compliance and cost efficiency while enabling scalable

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability in leading large teams and delivering results in complex IT environments.
• Experience driving organisational and technology transformation across enterprise environments.
• Experience leading enterprise capabilities in software intake, provisioning or Software Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle governance, licensing, compliance and cost optimisation.
• Experience standardising and automating software intake and provisioning across platforms.
• Ability to balance common standards with federated execution in a large organisation.
• Experience from the defence industry is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

You lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area, while driving the transformation agenda and ensuring alignment with Saab’s business and technology priorities.

As Head of Software Enablement you will lead a strategically important area responsible for how software is governed, provisioned and managed across Saab. Your mission is to make software easier to access, deploy and manage across Saab, while ensuring security, compliance and cost efficiency. Through automation, standardisation and modern management practices, you will create the foundations for secure, compliant and efficient software consumption across the enterprise. Your role

As Head of Software Enablement, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area. Your mission is to establish the capabilities needed to manage software assets, software consumption and software lifecycle governance across Saab. A major focus will be developing common capabilities for software intake, software provisioning and software asset management. Automation, standardisation and lifecycle management will be central to this transformation.

As part of the Core Enterprise Platforms & Applications management team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technology leaders. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will

• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area

Your profile

Key Qualifications And Experience

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills
• Proven experience managing operational delivery and service performance
• Experience driving organisational and technology transformation in complex environments
• Experience leading or developing enterprise capabilities within software intake, application provisioning or Software Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle governance, including licensing, compliance and cost optimisation
• Experience standardising and automating software intake and provisioning across platforms and client environments
• Ability to combine common standards and governance with federated execution in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
