Job summary

Valtech Sweden is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and business, with practical AI experience in digital products. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric, scalable solutions.

You will work across UX and UI from insight to implementation, shape design systems, and ensure accessibility, usability, and trust in AI-enabled interfaces. The role is based in Stockholm with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across UX and UI.
• Hands-on experience applying AI in digital products.
• Strong experience with design systems in scalable environments.
• Ability to translate concepts into high-quality interfaces.
• Experience collaborating with developers and understanding technical constraints.
• Structured, end-to-end requirement clarification.
• Pragmatic, collaborative mindset.
• Fluent Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Drive UX and UI work from concept to final delivery.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Own and evolve design systems for consistency and scalability.
• Design AI-enabled user experiences integrated with product goals.
• Ensure clarity, usability, and trust in AI interactions.

Valtech Sweden is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and business – and who brings practical experience working with AI in digital products. As a UX/UI Designer you will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to create user‑centric, scalable, and business‑driven digital solutions.

You will work across both UX and UI, moving seamlessly from insight and structure to high‑quality, implementation‑ready design.

Role Responsibilities

• Drive UX and UI work from concept to final delivery
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces
• Own and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
• Design user experiences where AI is a meaningful and integrated component
• Ensure clarity, usability, and trust in AI‑related interactions and flows
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and client stakeholders
• Work with developers in agile teams to ensure designs are implementation‑ready
• Facilitate and contribute to workshops with clients and internal teams

We believe you have

• 7+ years of experience working across both UX and UI
• Hands‑on experience working with AI in digital products, for example:
  • Designing AI‑supported features or user flows
  • Working in projects where AI is part of the end‑user experience
  • Using AI tools in a structured and repeatable way in your design process
• Strong experience working with design systems in scalable environments
• Excellent ability to translate concepts into concrete, high‑quality interfaces
• Experience working closely with developers and understanding technical constraints
• Strong ability to structure and clarify requirements end‑to‑end
• A pragmatic, confident, and collaborative mindset
• Solid experience with Figma or similar tools
• Experience working with accessibility standards (WCAG)

Language

• You are fluent in Swedish

Nice To Have Qualifications

• Experience conducting user testing in fast‑paced environments
• Data‑driven design experience
• Experience with complex flows (e.g. e‑commerce, booking)
