Job summary

Schibsted is building the next generation of media products in a fast-paced Product Lab. As UX Lead you will ensure user insight shapes what to build, guiding teams across discovery, concept development, and rapid prototyping with real users.

You will work with product management, technology and editorial colleagues to validate opportunities, test hypotheses, and decide whether to invest, pivot or stop. The role blends craft with leadership in a dynamic, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in product and interaction design with proven concepts moving to validation.
• Ability to prototype and learn quickly, iterating based on evidence.
• Strong judgment to synthesize ambiguous information into a clear point of view.
• Experience working with product, technology and editorial disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Shape how Product Lab conducts discovery, setting a fast, evidence-based workflow.
• Understand changing audiences and identify where new products fit in news/media.
• Frame opportunities with cross-functional teams and test hypotheses.
• Prototype and run quick experiments with real users to validate ideas.
