Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee design development and integrate civil and utility disciplines on a major infrastructure joint venture between Aecon Civil and Aecon Utilities.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will steer multidisciplinary teams through design, testing and commissioning. You will drive technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from bid to operations, manage interfaces with designers, contractors and clients, ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience delivering major infrastructure projects including design-build and P3/concession.
• Extensive experience with Tier 1 contractors, design consultants, and interface with construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design development and integration of civil and utility disciplines.
• Coordinate design, construction, testing, and commissioning activities to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements, contracts, laws, codes, and standards.
• Manage design progress, performance, and reporting to clients.
• Identify and mitigate design and technical risks and disputes.
• Facilitate collaboration between construction and operations teams and support stakeholder communications.
