Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Senior Statistician – Discovery Analytics & AI to join our FSP team supporting a leading global pharmaceutical client. The role sits at the intersection of statistics, biomedical research, data science, and AI, contributing to innovative discovery and translational programs.

You will develop advanced analytical solutions, automate workflows, and translate statistical methodologies into AI-enabled tools that accelerate scientific decision-making.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related quantitative field.
• Strong programming in R and/or Python.
• Experience applying statistical methods to biological, biomedical, or scientific datasets.
• Proven ability to develop reproducible and scalable analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with statisticians, scientists, data scientists, and software engineers on translational research questions.
• Apply statistical methods to analyze complex biological and omics datasets.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reproducible analytical workflows using R and/or Python.
• Support AI-enabled analytical solutions, including AI agents and workflow automation tools.
• Translate analytical workflows into scalable AI-assisted applications.
• Integrate statistical methods and domain knowledge into AI-enabled environments.
• Develop reusable analytics components and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support adoption of technologies that enhance data-driven decision-making in discovery research.
