Job summary

Sferical AI in Stockholm is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliable, measurable, and predictable operation of our HPC/AI platform. You will own core operational processes, drive uptime and performance, and collaborate across hardware, compute, storage, and security domains.

The role emphasizes incident and change management, mature ITSM practices, and data-driven improvements. English fluency is required; Swedish language skills are a strong plus, and Swedish

Qualifications

• This role requires proven SRE or infrastructure operations experience in large-scale environments.
• Hands-on with cluster schedulers (Slurm, Kubernetes) and hardware failure patterns.
• Experience designing ITSM processes (ITIL or similar) for a fast-moving organization.
• Data-driven mindset with metrics, dashboards and continuous improvement.
• Experience with compliance and audits in regulated or security-sensitive settings is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a strong plus; Swedish citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Own core operational processes: incident, change and release management with clear escalation.
• Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs and KPIs such as uptime and GPU utilization.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, spares, firmware updates, and maintenance windows.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, scalable platform operations.
