Job summary

Cypher Consulting Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our R&D Software team in Örebro. You will contribute to the development of advanced control systems and autonomous functions for surface drilling rigs, using C++ for backend and React/TypeScript for UI.

You will work in a collaborative, agile environment with a strong emphasis on software quality, architecture, and end-to-end delivery across embedded and frontend components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in software development, preferably within industrial automation, embedded systems, or complex technical environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++ development.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and system integration.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions in complex technical environments.
• Experience working within agile development teams.

Responsibilities
