Mölnlycke is seeking a Senior Material Developer within silicone technology to join our global HQ in Gothenburg. You’ll lead development of next-generation silicone materials for wound care, combining deep technical expertise with an innovation mindset to create patient‑centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or a related field.
• Significant experience in material development within silicone technologies.
• Deep technical expertise in silicone chemistry, silicone physics, or related material technologies.
• Experience driving development projects and solving complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative and customer‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and characterization of silicone-based materials and technologies.
• Drive innovation projects from early concepts through technology development.
• Identify new material opportunities and translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Build relationships with suppliers, research institutes and external partners.
• Support product development and new product innovation within Wound Care.
• Monitor emerging technologies, material trends and IP landscapes.
• Contribute technical leadership by sharing knowledge and driving collaboration across teams.
