Job summary

You will collaborate with the autopilot and data processing teams, writing high-performance C++ code that ties edge robotics to our broader system, with opportunities to expand into hardware-software integration and cloud data processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with 3D SLAM, state estimation, and sensor fusion in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or drones.
• Proficient in C++ (production-grade) and Python as a secondary language.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, Linux, and sensors like LiDAR, IMU, and cameras.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, optimize, and maintain 3D SLAM and mapping pipelines for accurate localization under dense forest canopies.
• Collaborate across stack with Autopilot Engineer and Data Processing teams to feed SLAM data into navigation loops and streaming edge data.
• Architect for scalability by writing highly performant, modular C++ code bridging edge robotics with broader systems.
