Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Regulatory Associate to join its Regulatory Affairs team, driving global regulatory compliance for e-invoicing and CTC mandates. You will help shape our position as a leader in invoicing compliance and tax technology, collaborating across product, marketing, and sales.

The role emphasizes proactive regulatory monitoring, external expert engagement, and cross-functional education to ensure delivery of compliant, innovative solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in e-invoicing/CTC, tax tech or indirect tax.
• Relevant degree in Business, Law, Economics or similar.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; strong communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with AI planning tools.
• Technical aptitude with generative AI and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and interpret global regulatory frameworks including digital real-time controls and indirect tax.
• Identify and engage external experts to interpret regulatory and technical requirements.
• Own or lead accreditation efforts to offer services in required jurisdictions.
• Support product strategy, design, and business requirements with regulatory input.
• Educate cross-functional teams on relevant regulatory matters and developments.
• Partner with marketing for thought leadership and market positioning on compliance matters.
• Represent Thomson Reuters in trade associations and international organizations.
• Establish and maintain contacts with governmental agencies and inter-governmental bodies.
• Represent at public speaking events, both in-person and virtual.
• Support sales and professional services in customer engagement and retention.
• Drive ancillary revenues via department products and services.
