Job summary

Inventyou is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a vulnerability remediation initiative within a large IT environment in Stockholm. You will drive end-to-end project delivery, define mitigation for critical vulnerabilities, and implement automated patching where feasible, collaborating with IT operations, security, and business units.

The role requires hands-on vulnerability management experience, strong IT operations knowledge, and exceptional stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience as a Project Manager in IT with independent responsibility.
• Hands-on vulnerability management experience including remediation.
• Strong understanding of IT operations and patch management, including virtual patching.
• Excellent stakeholder management in large organizations.
• Experience coordinating large cross-functional teams.
• Fluent Swedish and English.
• Based in the Stockholm area and available to start in November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project end to end, from planning and governance to implementation and follow-up.
• Define and implement mitigation processes for truly critical vulnerabilities.
• Define and implement automated mitigation and patching where feasible.
• Establish solutions and processes for compensating controls such as virtual patching.
• Align and engage stakeholders across IT operations, security and business units.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and trade-offs between speed and stability.
• Report progress, risks and decisions to management.
• Ensure new processes are documented, adopted and sustainable over time.
