Job summary

Mojang Studios is seeking a Senior Product Manager to steer the evolution of a key platform for Minecraft. You will ensure the team vision and roadmaps align with business goals and are technically sound, working closely with production, leadership, and the Minecraft core team based in Stockholm.

You will translate strategic objectives into team priorities, drive performance, and champion the product vision across Mojang Studios and with other product leaders to scale impact for players

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in product leadership roles.
• Defining and driving technical product strategy.
• Building alignment and driving outcomes across highly technical and cross-functional teams with diverse viewpoints and a willingness to challenge ideas.
• Building strong relationships and managing stakeholders across disciplines and levels.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help steward the continued evolution of one of the world’s most beloved games. As a Senior Product Manager, you will ensure team vision and roadmaps are in line with business objectives and technically sound. You will work closely with your production team, the team leadership, peers across different parts of the organization, and the Minecraft leadership team. You will report to the Director of Product for Minecraft Core, based in Stockholm.

In this role you will:

• Build and own a platform with a real impact on millions of Minecraft players around the world.
• Define and continuously evolve an inspiring product vision, technical strategy, and key metrics for your product area.
• Create the conditions for a healthy, high-performing team that focuses on the right opportunities at the right time.
• Communicate and champion the vision, roadmap, and key metrics within your team and throughout Mojang Studios.
• Translate strategic objectives into team priorities while fostering engagement, ownership, and collaboration.
• Use data, player insights, and community feedback to inform decisions, uncover opportunities and validate your strategy.
• Be the expert in knowing your customers, their needs, and what problems they have that you can solve today and in the future.
• Collaborate closely with other product leaders across Mojang Studios to align product vision, priorities, and drive impact at scale.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience in:

• At least 6 years of experience in product leadership roles.
• Defining and driving technical product strategy.
• Building alignment and driving outcomes across highly technical and cross-functional teams with strong expertise, diverse viewpoints, and a willingness to challenge ideas.
• Building strong relationships and managing stakeholders across disciplines and levels.
• Working in highly technical and agile environments.

• Strong communication, problem-solving skills combined with extensive experience with situational leadership.
