Job summary

RPS Softwares AB is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Consultant to design, build, and maintain a GitOps-based delivery platform on Kubernetes. The role demands hands-on expertise in cloud-native platforms, GitOps, and artifact management.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Platform Engineering or DevOps, with strong JFrog Artifactory and ArgoCD experience, and familiarity with Azure AKS, Entra ID, VNet, and AWS ECR. You will lead container orchestration and CI/CD workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience configuring, administering, and managing JFrog Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a modern GitOps-based delivery platform running on Kubernetes.
• Administer, configure, and optimize JFrog Artifactory in a cloud-native environment with identity integrations and cloud networking across AWS and Azure.
• Deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot production-grade Kubernetes environments, building and enhancing GitOps workflows via ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver hands-on consulting with ownership of technical deliverables.

We are hiring Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Consultant – GitOps & Kubernetes for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Consultant to design, build, and maintain a modern GitOps‑based delivery platform running on Kubernetes. This is a hands‑on consulting role requiring deep technical expertise in cloud‑native platforms, GitOps practices, container orchestration, and artifact management.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Platform & Artifact Management: Administer, configure, and optimize JFrog Artifactory as the organization’s governed repository, while managing secure, cloud‑native deployments, identity integrations, and cloud networking across AWS and Azure.

Kubernetes & DevOps Orchestration: Deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot production‑grade Kubernetes environments (including resource management, networking, and RBAC) while building and enhancing GitOps workflows via ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience configuring, administering, and managing JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with JFrog Xray and Curation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience deploying, configuring, and managing ArgoCD in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Git, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipeline implementation, with experience in GitHub Actions preferred.
• Experience working with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure: AKS, Microsoft Entra ID, Virtual Networks (VNet), Private Endpoints, Workload Identity.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Amazon ECR and IAM.
• Practical experience running ArgoCD and Artifactory in these environments is required.
