Nordic Investin is recruiting a Senior Computer Vision Robotics Engineer for a partner company. You will shape architecture, delivery, and production behaviour, turning constraints into robust, operable systems for autonomous machines.

The role emphasizes early testing, clear documentation of trade-offs and operability as part of design. You will work with C++ and ROS 2, machine vision and sensor fusion, ensuring measurable progress and a clean hand-over to production.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering perception and motion software for autonomous machines in demanding environments.
• Strong knowledge of C++ and ROS 2.
• Practical experience applying computer vision and sensor fusion.
• Ability to assess risk and trade-offs involving simulation.
• Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and end-to-end ownership.
• Professional English and the judgement to work with sensitive or business-critical information.

Responsibilities

• Own the practical direction for perception and motion software for autonomous machines.
• Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for C++ and ROS 2.
• Establish useful standards, routines or artefacts around computer vision.
• Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting sensor fusion.
• Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve simulation.
• Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team.
