Job summary

A technology company in Linköping is seeking a skilled Senior PCB Layout Engineer to work within a cross-functional team on electronics design and embedded software. Responsibilities

• Drive schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• Design multi-layer PCBs (8+ layers) with strong EMC/EMI performance.
• Define PCB stack-ups and optimize for thermal, EMC, and mechanical performance.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability and assembly quality.
• Collaborate closely with electronics engineers, embedded developers, and test engineers.
• Conduct PCB-level calculations: track width, differential pairs, SI, PI.
• Support PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT and thru-hole.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IPC Class experience is highly beneficial).

Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design

Strong proficiency in Altium Designer

Solid understanding of DFM/DFA and electronics manufacturing

Experience with advanced stack-ups and multilayer design (8+ layers)

High attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills

Fluent in English

IPC Class 3 design experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
