Job summary

H&M is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Network Security Engineering team in Sweden. You will architect, design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect our global network infrastructure.

You will lead security policy development, risk assessments, and threat modelling while modernizing systems to SSE/ZTNA. Collaboration with global stakeholders and strong governance will be key to success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, focused on network environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SWG, SASE, VPN, CASB, ZTNA).
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST frameworks and GDPR compliance.
• Ability to translate security requirements into implementable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of network security policies and monitoring across platforms.
• Design and improve network security solutions across branches, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling to drive hardening initiatives.
• Modernize security with SSE and ZTNA, with clear roadmaps and governance.
• Monitor performance and ensure compliance with ISO, NIST, GDPR and internal standards.
• Provide L3 support for on-prem and cloud network security devices and services.
