Job summary

Rebtel in Stockholm is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to define how AI is built and scaled across the product and operations. You will lead classical ML in production and ship LLM-powered features, with a clear production mindset, monitoring, and retraining workflows.

You will sit in the Data team, collaborating with one other ML/AI engineer and stakeholders to move from a side project to core capabilities, impacting millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ML engineering in Python with production ownership.
• Strong fundamentals in classical ML: feature engineering, model selection, validation.
• Production mindset: monitoring, retraining, eval harnesses, CI/CD for models.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate business problems into ML solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data stack, plus LLM tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own classical ML in production for operational leverage and business impact.
• Develop LLM-powered systems for the product and in-product features.
• Own end-to-end scoping, building, deploying, monitoring, and retraining models.
• Guide AI strategy, evaluate models, and establish governance for prompts and pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and a second ML/AI engineer in the Data team.
