Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a leading international contractor to appoint an experienced MEP Lead to oversee Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing packages on a major data centre project in Sweden.

You will own MEP activities from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved. 8+ years' experience and Nordic region delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services engineering.
• 8+ years delivering MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience leading MEP teams on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, installation methodologies and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate day-to-day MEP operations with project management, design, commissioning and construction teams.
• Ensure works meet project specifications, quality requirements and client expectations.
• Manage subcontractor performance, progress tracking and coordination meetings.
• Review technical submissions, drawings and design information for efficient delivery.
• Drive MEP coordination across all disciplines and stakeholders.
• Chair and attend project meetings, engineering reviews and handover meetings.
• Support commercial teams with variations, cost control and project reporting.
• Ensure health & safety standards are implemented throughout MEP activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and project close-out.
• Identify and resolve technical, design and coordination issues.
