Job summary

CGI Business Consulting is expanding its advisory capabilities in Engineering Excellence & Innovation in Western and Southern Sweden. We seek senior management consultants to help shape the future of engineering, R&D and product development for leading industrial clients.

You will work with executives to transform engineering strategy, governance, PLM, and product development, while growing CGI's advisory capabilities. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering knowledge paired with a strategic consulting mindset.
• Experience with frameworks or standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, MBSE, SAFe or Lean Product Development is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; Swedish is an advantage.

CGI Business Consulting is expanding its advisory capabilities within Engineering Excellence & Innovation in Western and Southern Sweden. We are looking for senior management consultants who want to help shape the future of engineering, R&D and product development across some of the region's leading industrial companies. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges at the intersection of engineering, technology and organizational transformation. You will help our clients improve how they develop products, organize engineering, govern innovation and accelerate the transition towards increasingly digital and software‑driven products. You will also play a key role in helping shape and grow CGI's advisory capabilities within engineering, R&D and product development, strengthening our market presence and contributing to the continued growth of our Business Consulting practice.

Typical client challenges include improving engineering productivity, accelerating product development, strengthening governance, enabling software‑defined products, introducing AI into engineering organizations and balancing innovation with increasing regulatory and compliance requirements.

Engineering Excellence & Trusted Advisor

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with executives, engineering leaders and product organizations to help clients improve the way they develop products and manage engineering organizations. Typical assignments include:

• Engineering strategy and operating model transformation
• R&D and product development strategy
• Engineering governance and organizational design
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Systems Engineering
• Engineering process improvement and maturity assessments
• Agile product development and engineering excellence
• Digital Engineering, AI‑enabled Engineering and software‑defined products
• Technology, product and innovation management

You will work closely with executives and engineering leaders to analyze current ways of working, facilitate executive workshops, assess organizational maturity and develop future‑state operating models and transformation roadmaps.

Thought Leadership & Capability Development

You will play an important role in helping CGI further strengthen its advisory capabilities within engineering, R&D and product development. This includes:

• Developing new consulting offerings
• Contributing to CGI's methodologies and best practices
• Sharing knowledge across CGI's national and global network
• Coaching colleagues and supporting capability development
• Building thought leadership through customer dialogues, presentations and industry insights

Business Development & Sales

As a senior consultant, you are expected to contribute to CGI's continued growth. This includes:

• Leading and driving business development initiatives within existing and new client accounts
• Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities into consulting engagements
• Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor
• Leading sales dialogues and executive‑level customer discussions
• Leading and contributing to proposals, bids and client presentations
• Packaging, developing and commercializing CGI's advisory offerings
• Representing CGI at customer meetings, industry events and professional networks
• Collaborating across CGI's business units to bring together the right expertise and create integrated client solutions
• Contributing to account growth strategies and expanding existing client engagements
