Stegra in Boden, Sweden is seeking a Utilities & Infrastructure Technical Lead for our LNG terminal and related utility systems. This senior role provides technical authority without people management, focusing on safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Operations and external providers, OEMs, contractors and inspection bodies, guiding maintenance, root-cause investigations and risk-based decisions while advancing Stegra's mission to decarbonize industry with

Qualifications

• Degree or technical diploma in mechanical, electrical, process, energy engineering or a related field.
• Experience working in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of LNG/gas systems, industrial utilities and pressure equipment.
• Good understanding of equipment integrity, inspections, ATEX, process safety and industrial risk management.
• Experience managing contractors and external technical stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented, with strong technical ownership.
• Comfortable making independent decisions and influencing others.

Responsibilities

• Apply your expertise as technical authority for LNG facilities and assigned utility systems.
• Guide Operations and solve complex technical and operational issues, including root cause investigations.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, certifications and statutory compliance activities.
• Assess system performance and technical risks to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with utility providers, OEMs, contractors and inspection bodies, and follow up on their performance.
• Develop and improve technical standards, procedures and maintenance strategies.
• Assess modifications and make sound technical decisions on equipment integrity, maintenance priorities and risk mitigation.
• Support commissioning, start-ups, shutdowns and major maintenance activities, while sharing technical knowledge across the team.
