Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer in Göteborg, Sweden. This hybrid role requires at least 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development and strong knowledge of modern frameworks like Angular or ReactJS.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development.
• Strong knowledge of Angular or ReactJS for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ.
• Full professional English and Swedish language skills.
• Swedish or European citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers.
• Implement automated testing as an integrated part of delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to cloud platforms.
• Ensure application security and data protection.
