Job summary

H&M Hennes & Mauritz Sverige AB in Stockholm, Sweden, seeks an experienced iOS SDK engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust SDKs using Swift. You will collaborate with product, security, QA, Android, backend, and developer relations to deliver reusable frameworks and clear public APIs.

You will ensure compatibility across iOS versions and devices, optimize performance, and contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• 2+ years building SDKs, frameworks, libraries, or shared mobile platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, and modern iOS architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of Swift Package Manager, XCFrameworks, or similar distribution methods.
• Experience with REST APIs, networking layers, serialization, and async programming.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills using Xcode Instruments and related tools.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of semantic versioning, backward compatibility, and API lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of secure mobile development practices.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Stay current with iOS trends and evaluate new tools/frameworks.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and estimations.
• Share insights to foster continuous improvement.
