Job summary

Belmont Lavan is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI in a fast-paced environment in Sweden. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with product, design, and QA teams.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in iOS frameworks, RESTful APIs, and performance optimisation, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with SwiftUI and Swift.
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior developers.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Excellent collaboration with product, design, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Drive technical decision-making, provide architectural guidance, and ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define project requirements and deliver features.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Identify and resolve performance, memory, and concurrency issues.
• Stay updated with iOS developments and evaluate new tools/frameworks.
• Integrate mobile apps with server-side systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with QA for testing and deployment.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes with sprint planning and estimation.
