Job summary

WeQuel is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer for a consulting assignment in Stockholm. You will own end‑to‑end development across frontend and backend, translate business needs into technical solutions, and collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to deliver features.

You will mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural discussions, and work with cloud environments, APIs, and integrations in an Agile/Scrum setting. Swedish and English communication is essential.

Senior Fullstack Developer – Consulting Assignment

Are you an experienced Full-Stack Developer who enjoys taking ownership of complete solutions, from frontend and backend development to integrations and cloud environments? We at WeQuel are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm.

In this role, you will work across the full application stack, developing scalable and robust solutions while contributing to technical decisions, mentoring other developers, and collaborating closely with both business and design teams.

As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with some of our clients who are leading companies within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, contributing to process optimization, implementation of new technologies, and the development of sustainable solutions.

About the Role:

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will develop end-to-end applications and work with both frontend and backend components. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and take responsibility for delivering complete features from concept through development and testing to production.

You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, business stakeholders, and other developers to create maintainable and high-quality software solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to technical leadership, support architectural and technical discussions, and mentor other developers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop end-to-end applications and complete features from concept to production
• Develop frontend solutions using Angular and backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and optimize databases
• Build scalable, maintainable, and robust software solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Design and develop APIs and system integrations
• Work with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and automation pipelines
• Work with cloud-based environments and containerized applications
• Ensure security best practices and secure coding
• Perform testing, quality assurance, and performance optimization
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making

We are looking for someone who:

• Has approximately 6–9 years of relevant experience within Full-Stack Development
• Has strong experience in frontend development using Angular
• Has strong experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
• Has experience with database design and optimization
• Has experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Has experience with integration technologies and API design
• Has experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka
• Has experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation pipelines
• Has experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Has knowledge of security best practices and secure coding
• Has experience with testing frameworks and quality assurance practices
• Has experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Has experience with performance optimization
• Has strong problem-solving abilities
• Has experience mentoring and coaching junior developers
• Is comfortable leading technical discussions and contributing to technical decision-making
• Has experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Has excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Has a relevant educational background
