Job summary

AKQA Sweden is seeking an established fullstack engineer to lead development across frontend, API, and data sources in a headless, serverless-first architecture. You will collaborate with UX, Design, Strategy, and Delivery to deliver high-quality digital products for a diverse client portfolio including Volvo Cars, Google, IKEA, and H&M.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in fullstack web development.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web stacks.
• Experience with headless CMSs and composable architectures.
• Familiar with cloud hosting and serverless paradigms.
• Proven ability to mentor teammates and review code.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development on medium-to-large client projects.
• Collaborate with UX, Design, Strategy, and Delivery to implement features.
• Mentor teammates and foster an open learning culture.
• Architect solutions aligned with client business goals.
• Ensure accessible, performant, secure, and well-tested code.
• Apply Lean/Agile practices and promote continuous delivery.
• Develop frontend with Next.js/React and headless CMS integrations.
• Build with serverless Next.js APIs and Hasura backends.
• Deploy on Vercel and integrate with enterprise cloud environments.
• Leverage AI tools and SDKs to enhance web apps.
• Implement automated tests with Vitest/Playwright/Cypress.
• Explore mobile/web animation tooling (Framer Motion/GSAP).
• Participate in cross-functional planning and code reviews.
