Job summary

Avinode Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Flight Operations (Frontend) to lead frontend features for our Flight Operations product. You will work with a product team to plan, implement and release customer-facing features across the aviation industry.

You bring 7+ years of frontend experience with JavaScript and React, plus some .NET experience. You will maintain our React tooling, migrate legacy pages, and mentor other engineers while contributing across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building frontend applications with JavaScript and React.
• Experience with the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience migrating JQuery/KnockoutJS pages to React.
• Experience creating tools for developer experience, deployment, security, automation in NodeJS/NPM.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions to implement new product features and improve current features.
• Maintain and improve React tooling and build pipeline.
• Bring codebase up to date with current best practices, libraries, and platforms.
• Research and advocate for new technologies and techniques for the team/engineering org.
• Mentor less experienced engineers as a technical resource.
