Job summary

EDF is seeking a Lead Engineer - Repair Development in Västerås, Sweden. In this role, you'll be pivotal in supporting and enhancing the performance of generator solutions, working with advanced technology to contribute towards a greener energy future.

You will lead maintenance planning, manage technical queries, and collaborate with the sales team. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of mechanical design experience, particularly in generators, and can work efficiently in diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with generators (operation, maintenance, manufacturing, and design).
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document maintenance activities for generators and manage technical questions during execution.
• Lead a technical area including, but not limited to, stator design, repairs, and stator maintenance.
• Contribute to projects on repair, renovation, and manufacturing of generators with a focus on stators.
