Job summary

Volvo Group in Gothenburg seeks a Senior Embedded Software Platform & Integration Engineer to secure vehicle systems and defend against cyber threats. You will configure AUTOSAR stacks, manage software components, memory and multi-core processing, and contribute to architecture decisions on platform level within the FSDV team.

With 10+ years of embedded software experience and strong AUTOSAR expertise, you will collaborate across functions, mentor colleagues, and drive robust, scalable software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience with Embedded Software.
• Proficient in Python and C with solid software development experience.
• At least 6 years with AUTOSAR at platform level in automotive context.
• Familiarity with CANoe and ISO 26262 standards.
• Self-driven, eager to learn, and capable of mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate the AUTOSAR stack, including BSW modules and MCALs.
• Manage software component and watchdog configurations per project specs.
• Oversee memory allocation, partitioning, and multi-core processing.
• Contribute to software design and cross-functional collaboration.
• Integrate application and signal databases (CAN/CAN-FD) for data management.
• Perform technical reviews on design, code and testing strategies.
• Perform fault tracing and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability.
