Job summary

International Data Centre Contractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The role focuses on technical coordination and electrical installation across the project area, working with management and subcontractors to ensure delivery.

You will manage drawings, resolve issues, and support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems, with a clear emphasis on safety and programme alignment.

Qualifications

The Company

This international contractor delivers major turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering design, construction, M&E installation and commissioning.

They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team on a major hyperscale data centre development in Eskilstuna, Sweden, working across technically complex electrical and mission-critical systems.

The Role: Senior Electrical Engineer

You will work closely with the project management team, supervisors and electrical subcontractors, taking responsibility for technical coordination and electrical installation across your area of the project.

The role will involve managing drawings, resolving technical issues, monitoring subcontractor works and supporting electrical systems through testing, commissioning and handover.

Must Have Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years’ experience within an electrical or M&E contracting environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations on large construction projects.
• Experience coordinating electrical subcontractors and technical site activities.

Preferred Experience

• Data centre or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Testing and commissioning experience beneficial.
• Previous European project experience advantageous.
