Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior EDA Applications Engineer to support verification workflows for Nordic customers from Stockholm. You will resolve complex design issues on-site and remotely, mentor junior engineers, and influence product direction with field feedback.

You will collaborate with R&D, deliver training, and lead regional efforts to improve verification methodologies and tool adoption across customer sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor design, ASIC development, or EDA applications
• Strong foundation in digital design verification concepts, methodologies, and flows
• Based in or near Stockholm with travel within the Nordic region and internationally
• Proven ability to work with customer engineering teams and drive resolution
• Experience with Synopsys verification tools is a strong plus (VCS, Verdi, VC Formal)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for key customers across Sweden and the Nordic region.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in customer design environments, on-site and remotely.
• Collaborate with R&D to escalate critical issues and influence product roadmap.
• Mentor and develop junior applications engineers.
• Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and best practice guidance to customer teams.
• Act as a regional technical leader representing customer needs internally and driving solutions
