Job summary

Toca Boca AB in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end analytics for our data-driven games and experiences. You will analyze player behavior, run advanced models, and partner with product, design, and engineering to inform strategy and monetization.

The role combines exploratory data science, experimentation (A/B tests), and storytelling to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in user-focused Data Science or advanced product analytics within Gaming, Mobile Apps, or interactive digital products.

Responsibilities

• Uncover Deep Player Insights: Analyze complex player datasets to understand behavioral patterns, feature engagement, and retention drivers across our games, informing overall product and commerce strategy.
• Apply Advanced Statistical Methods: Apply statistical models, regression analysis, predictive segmentation, and experimental methods (A/B testing) to optimize product performance at scale.
• Bridge Quantitative & Qualitative Insights: Partner seamlessly with User Research to connect data trends with qualitative research for a 360-degree understanding.
• End-to-End Ownership & Influence: Take ownership of complex game product questions; translate data into clear, data-backed recommendations with PMs, Designers and Engineers.
• Innovate & Evolve Workflows: Refine analytics capabilities using modern data science workflows, predictive modeling, and AI tools.
