Job summary

Elekta in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Neuro engineering team. You will collaborate with software engineers, product owners, software architects and system engineers to evolve Leksell GammaPlan®, a desktop planning tool used in radiosurgery.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, applying strong C++ skills to Linux, GUI features, and advanced algorithms within an agile SAFe environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Design and develop robust, maintainable software within a complex and high-quality engineering environment
• Review code and software documentation to ensure high standards of quality
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup (SAFe/Scrum)
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and methodologies
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements relevant to software development
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and team practices
