Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a procurement professional to support category strategies and supplier management across assigned categories. You will help deliver continuity of supply, improve cost competitiveness, and strengthen supplier performance while acting as the main escalation point for operational purchasing issues.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategies and supplier management activities, resolving supply, quality, delivery and commercial issues.
• Prepare, issue and evaluate RFQs, analyzing quotations and recommending sourcing options based on cost, quality, lead time, and risk.
• Contribute to supplier negotiations with a focus on best-value total cost of ownership.
• Manage procurement activities for new product development, coordinating sample-part orders and project timelines with Operational Buyers.
• Lead cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives, track results, and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and process improvement.

Strong analytical capabilities help you evaluate options, solve problems, and manage several priorities effectively.
