Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Basetech System Engineer to join an international automotive engineering team. You will work in the EE Architecture team within the Electronics and Software Center on base technologies, system integration, software and vehicle communication.

The role covers the full development lifecycle from concept and requirements through supplier interaction, testing, verification and validation, with collaboration across Europe and Asia to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with automotive base technologies.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, architecture and/or software.
• Experience with automotive communication and base technologies such as CAN / CAN FD, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, SWDL, PDU routing.
• Experience with embedded systems, software development or testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
• Experience with testing/verification tools CANoe, DSA or SPA-DVA.
• Experience with supplier interaction and technical compatibility reviews is desirable.
• Knowledge of Open Alliance TC18/TC19 is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

We are looking for a Senior Basetech System Engineer to join an international automotive engineering team in Gothenburg.

You will be part of the EE Architecture team within the Electronics and Software Center, working with electrical architecture, base technologies, system integration, software and vehicle communication technologies.

The role focuses on ensuring that in-vehicle and offboard vehicle systems comply with relevant base technology requirements, processes and standards. You will work across the complete development lifecycle, from concept and requirements through supplier interaction, testing, verification and validation.

Required Experience

• PDU routing
• Experience with embedded systems, software development or testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of automotive best practices, standards and regulations.
• Experience with automotive testing and verification tools such as CANoe, DSA or SPA-DVA.
• Experience with supplier interaction and technical compatibility reviews is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Open Alliance TC18 Remote Control Protocol and TC19 Software Defined Networks is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
