Job summary

Kry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Membership and Revenue team, delivering backend services for patient apps across markets. You will own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and shape technical direction while collaborating with product, design, data and commercial teams.

The role focuses on cloud-native development with AWS, Terraform and modern CI/CD, in a remote-first setup with options for offices in multiple markets. Fluency in English and French is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building backend services in Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.
• Experience using AI coding tools.
• Owned systems in production and led technical decisions.
• Mentoring others and raising quality via code review.
• Cloud-based applications with AWS and Terraform.
• Payments, billing or other business-critical domains are a bonus.
• Able to adapt to new languages/frameworks quickly.
• Comfortable working in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own backend services and features for patient apps, primarily Kotlin and Java.
• Deliver end-to-end features across services from patient experience to booking and payments.
• Shape the technical direction and ensure decisions are understood and shared.
• Maintain high quality through thoughtful code reviews and mentoring.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and commercial stakeholders.
• Handle infrastructure and deployment via AWS, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Work in a lightweight, agile environment with evolving tooling and processes.
