Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Gothenburg seeks an experienced Simulation & Analysis Engineer to strengthen its engineering team. You will perform advanced durability simulations and fatigue evaluations of engine-related components, developing and validating finite element models to support product development.

You will analyze results, provide technical recommendations, and collaborate with design engineers to advance simulation methods and tools across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on simulation.
• Approximately 8+ years of experience in simulation and analysis.
• Experience performing durability simulations and fatigue evaluations with FEA.
• Experience with ANSYS Classic and APDL scripting.
• Experience using ANSA for meshing.
• Ability to work in Linux.
• Experience supporting method and tool development.
• Strong communication across engineering interfaces.
• Desirable: Python scripting for automation.
• Desirable: mentoring or leading complex simulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced durability simulations and fatigue evaluations of engine-related components.
• Develop, execute, and validate finite element models to support product development.
• Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations based on design targets.
• Plan, lead, and perform complex simulation and analysis activities.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of simulation models and analysis results.
• Support project and design engineers throughout all stages of product development.
• Contribute to the continuous development of simulation methods, tools, and engineering processes.
• Drive innovation through collaboration with internal teams, universities, and external partners.
