You will mentor engineers, apply advanced simulations to optimize performance, and stay informed on electrification trends to push innovation within customer programs, including OEM collaborations.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in mechanical design within the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of leading design projects from concept through SOP.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex automotive components and systems.
• Use CAD tools to create 3D models, assemblies and drawings.
• Perform analyses and simulations to optimize designs.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer partners (e.g., Volvo Cars).
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and electrification trends.
